Client Work

If you try and spice up a piece and it turns out like this… then you need to call me… NOW

This little magazine rack is one of four pieces a client brought over this weekend. She tried her darndest to get that thing a bright sunshiny yellow. Her words when she dropped it off “I don’t know why but my stuff doesn’t turn out the way yours does”…. there are many reasons but one large one goes by the name PRIMER.

I think this little guy has great potential and after some good loving he will finally feel all bright and sunshiny.

Gracious, it might take a bit to get this rack there. It was a good try that random spray paint attempt.

She also brought over this little fold up stool – envision a deep purple/magenta on top and grey on bottom. So pretty!

Painting this should be interesting – all those little nooks and crannies and areas that are exposed when folded that aren't when open. We’ll see how well this pans out.

Next up a cute little side table – think distressed black top and turquoise base

And lastly we have the rack of all racks – here she is on all her rusted glory

I will have to let you in on how it is easiest to go about dealing with rust. For another post – BUT lets just say this rack is going to look really sassy once that Glossy RED hits it.

Lots to do – not to mention two other client projects AND a cute desk that will soon be for sale

I will give you all the details on that once its done… if its ever done…

If you would like more information on getting your fabulous finds refinished or if that desk is calling your name, then please feel free to shoot me an email.

*you can always email me by clicking the envelope in the top right hand corner
