This photography thing is such a joy. Last week I met up with Molly (a friends sister) to get some headshots for a new website she’s creating to help boost her Opera career. Yep, that’s right, she’s an Opera singer. How cool!!!
As women, we can be so hard on ourselves and miss out on all our natural beauty. Its so easy to only see yourself through your own skewed lens. The great thing about photography is it doesn’t lie. Or at least my (non photoshoped) images do not lie. In these few shots you can really see Molly’s joy, sweet nature, and natural beauty. What is so fulfilling to me, as a photographer, is helping clients see how beautiful they really are.
Today I encourage you to see yourself through others eyes and not the harsh light and rigorous scrutiny we put ourselves through.
