How was your Easter?
Did you eat lots of good food and tons of candy? See family? Maybe hunt (or hide) a few Easter eggs?
I had family over on Saturday night to cook out. Hosting always makes me excited/overly attentive – I get worried I am not tending to everyone enough and end up forgetting the small things.
Before people get here I am all details. Its just once they arrive I seem to forget them.
There is this beautiful hydrangea tree/bush a few houses down and I felt like my table needed some spring fever added for our Easter festivities.
Five (small) branches later and this table had all the spring it could take.
Isn't it so crazy how much warmth fresh blooms can add, not only to a table, but to a house?
Later on we cooked burgers and hot dogs on the grill, hunted eggs, and went to evening church. We got our egg hunt in between rain showers – hints the lack of pictures – but even with the rain we still had a great time
